Callie Browning is an award-winning Barbadian author who loves great food and thrilling stories. Her book ‘The Girl with the Hazel Eyes’ is an incredible coming-of-age tale about Susan Taylor, a reclusive author who flees her island home after writing a tell-all novel that shakes apart the social and political fabric of the Caribbean.

Callie shares what inspired her to write her book, the differences between self-publishing and working with traditional publishing companies, how aspiring writers can market their book, and other juicy wisdom nuggets for aspiring authors.
